hey does anyone know how this years k2 public enemys are? i need new skiis and i cannot decide between the public enemys and the head madtrix

i'm on 04/05's and i'm loving them. i did lotsa testing before i bought so i had the chance to ride the mad_trix. although they filled my purposes, i found that in the the two days that i rode them, the topsheet began to peel quite easily (mind you, they had been ridden for a month at that time). Anyways,i found out from some friends that the topsheet has the tendency to peel if you do lots of rails, due to its method of construction. since i love my rails, i went with the PE's

try out both and then see what you like though

I have the 04/05's as well. Only beef is the topsheet chips easier then other skis I have had. It's a great cheap ski that hasn't shown the abuse yet performance wise yet

ya alot of people say the top sheets peel..but the 06's have a ptex so get them and it wont peel

sounds better. i have the 03s, and the topsheet is GONE. but if its p-tex go for it. indestructable ski.

Over 2500 left handed people a year are killed from using products made for right handed people.

so basically i lost my penis trying to have sex with my cat.

*ninja!* We own the night!

same as the year before besides the graphic...they seemed stiff as a bitch to me

I wish i was a gangster

i narrowed it down because i get a nice discount at my local shop and the guy there suggested the k2's and the other guy suggested the heads.

what do u think are better options? (nomensteven)

I have a pair of 04 PEs 179 and 04 Seth Pistols 179. Love them both. As you can see in my sig I ski at Smuggs and ripped my SPs this past weekend. The tore it up all over. Not much powder around but good soft cover and the SPs loved it. Fat skis aren't just for powder anymore

Smuggs kicks ass

Fat skis, Tight trees

PE's are a somewhat stiff but that makes them good all mountain skis. And they are incredibly good in powder for a ski with a 80 mm waist.

big whoop wanna fight about it?

nomensteven - you can't say that there are better skis out there when you don't even know what kind of skier this guy is. clearly, by picking PE's and mad_trix, he wants a stiff ski that can handle anything on the mountain

BTW: awesome choice of the PE's, you'll be super happy the second you get on them

Mcstooge- you are exactly right, at the mountain i ski at we dont have a huge park so i needed an all mountain ski and the PE's seem like the best choice.

I have some 159 Public Enemies, 05. I used them once for three runs and i will sell them for 400. They are 400 dollar skis with 250 dollar bindings(Salomon s811 ti axe) The bases are in perfecxt condition and the top has one small (2mm by 3mm) wrinkle in the top sheet, but they are absolutley perfect. I didnt grind on them either. Please reply back at Fischerboy0@msn.com
