K2 Public Enemy vs Völk Karma

Pretty similair, both are great all mtn, and both are pretty stiff, but hte karma is stiffer. Also the karma probably is gonna last you longer but its also gonna cost more. THe PE is a cheaper alternative and a little more 50-50 park allmtn ration as opposed to a ?->50 with the karma. Hope that helps
 
sry but i dont understand the final line, you meant that the karma are better prepared for all mountain than PE, isn't it?

That's what i want, a pair skis that allow me to go quite fast in piste, not just a ski to be whole day in the park.

any other alternative?

A lot of this depends on where you mount them. The farther forward you mount either ski the more park specific it gets.

But yeah, from my experience the Karma is more suited for all mountain than the PE. Both are good solid skis.
 
karma for sure. but it depends on what you are doin. karmas are definitely an all mountain ski and are stiff. id take them over the PE's
 
Here's how I look at it. If I were only going to have one ski, it would be the Karma. It skis, for lack of a better term, like a GS race ski that can go backwards and jump. The PE is close, but not quite there. I have 2 skis (park & 'carving') so I have Foils for park and either a Head Monster 82 or Elan Magfire 12 to carve on.

If you are a strong skier (maybe used to race) the Karma rocks. If you are more of an intermediate, I would go with the PE. It is a little softer and more forgiving than the Karma.

my opinion: Karma. Volkls are bombproof. stiff, fast, allmoutain and just basicly destroy everything. but i've heard the pe's are fun too.
 
i have 04-05 PE's and they arent very sweet. im getting them mounted more towards the center though, so they should be a little better this season
 
i have PE's. they are real good for going everywhere, incl. the park. however, from what i read and hear, the karma's are higher quality, and if i do say so, have a cooler graphic. thats if you're willing to pay a few bucks extra.
 
karmas are the dopest ski out there, they are definately a little stiffer than most skis but if u are a capable skier there prolly the best all mountain twins out there, i have mine mounted in like the freeride setting, and they are still super stompy in the park, not as good on rails, but thats wut u use a ski like the fujative for... karmas are definately the way 2 go
 
karma if you're looking for a 'hardass' ski. PE if you wanna relax a little. the graphics on both are pretty sick but the karma will break your wallet more!!

185cm karma with marker M12--->>420€... soo 460-480$

i think it's really cheap
