anyone else notice on the k2 Factory Team poster, the one that looks like Abby Road, the lisence plate on the voltswagon bug in the backround says RIP JM

i'm pretty sure they're talking about Joel McCormick. i just thought it was cool that they snuck that in there.

Josh Malay (sp?) was a sick snowboarder who drew the seth pistol graphics. i beleive he was snowboard the backcountry and hit his head on a rock.

Josh Malay was a ridiculously good snowboarder and the artist for the first two editions of the Pistol graphics. He passed away in Italy after hitting his head on a rock filming. I believe half of the graphics on the upcoming Vicious are Malay's art, and half are Schmies art. Schmies would know better than anyone on this info.............................................

It wasn't Italy, he was in Spain on a film trip with Trans World. He hit his head on a rock head first and wasn't wearing a helmet. RIP.

 
Yes, Josh was a ripper snowboarder from the midwest who lived in Colorado and was making shit happen for himself. He passed away after a freak accident in Spain on a photoshoot.

He was Seth's friend and created Seth's first two Seth Pistol graphics. The new Seth Vicious has some elements done by Josh and I finished up the rest after his accident. Seth is wearing a button on the ski that says "RIP JM" as well. Good eyes on the advertisement:) That also was for Josh.

 
jeff anderson probably died the coolest way of anyone in skiing or snowboarding.

My weiner is probably harder than yours.
 
they're talking about Josh Malay. and, if you can, you should go to Vail on Thursday for Malay Pipe Day.

PHROSTY jeff anderson fell four floors to his death while trying to slide a spiral staircase in japan. on his rear, not on a snowboard. im not sure if that was clear.

yes char is right about jeff anderson. he was deffinatly a cool kid like Josh. they are building a skate park in mammoth that will be open this summer dedicated to jeffy - it is suposed to be one of the top ten parks in the western USA and will have nationally televised comps.

Josh Malay, one of the best snowboarders, artists and freinds anybody could ever know! He will be missed. Dont miss Malay Day this week at Vail and Snoop Dogg this weekend!
