The Made'ns are going to be more versatile as the tapered sidecut of the Pontoons isn't ideal anywhere but pow.

However, as not many people have skied the Pontoon yet, there isn't much info on their performance.
 
Yea, they are pretty sick.

If you want to use them on more than just deeeep pow days, I'd say go for the Made'n.
 
I was talking to a guy who was rideing them a cuple of weeks ago (pontoons) he said that they are his favorit ski he has ever skied, he said he would take them anywhere but ice and that they perform well on hard pack too.
 
yeah im a ski bum, unlike you who probably goes up to his parents condo somewhere in colorado who skis sick vokals that his parents payed for, and you dont know how to use them. where as im the one sleeping in the van in your reserved parking spot outside your condo stealing your electricty trying to ski every second i can, and showing your ass up on the hill, tool

Also, hating on people with money and making it known that you are such a 'hardcore' ski bum doesn't impress anyone. If you knew shit about skis and/or skiing, you wouldn't be asking for advice on here anyway.

i tried but the name is already taken i dont know much about 130mm waist skis i only have 90's. I have also only owned k2s publics never there powder skis i figured some advice wouldnt hurt before i invest and move out west for good,but wait thats not a core thing to do, you are also a tool
 
i saw those when i was at k2 like 3 months ago. they are crazy. i would rather have the maidens tho. i skied those saturday and they were sooo fucking sick
 
on a couch near you or parking lot close to a hill, you are addicted to this eh over 3000 posts somepeople would think your hardcore but i think you need to get off the net and go do some skiing im sure you know stuff about skis/skiing but the people who now most dont have the internet you will open your eyes and relise this one day

man i never said i could out ski you im sure your a good skier, but you godda do what im doin right know get off the internet and go skiing, your waisting line time right know if your so good. peace out man im out. and i'll personally message you when i get out west with my maidens or poontoons and well go for rip and well answer the big question
 
Sounds good.

Although, I did ski yesterday and got up to ski today, but decided against it as I was disappointed in the snow report.

Some of us have real jobs and have to pay for houses, cars, etc and still manage to ski 80 - 100 days a year. Sometimes I have to pick my days wisely.
 
i'll keep rockin in the free world as long as possible, there is nothing better besides being a dirt bum in the summer at whistler so stocked
