K2 Poacher?

Hey, just wondering if anybody with the poachers could tell me if you like them, I am serisouly considering them for next season. But there are some things changing my mind, those being the weight and the swing-weight. Is the swing-weight something that is going to effect some tricks I like doing like, quick bonks and stuff? And will they soften up after time?

Thanks,

I am around 5,7 and 130 pounds

i have them and they’re a pretty solid ski in terms of durability your never rly gonna have problems with them but the weight is a little bit noticeable at times with swaps and stuff. they’re perfect for jumps but if you want a lighter ski for rails i’d say go for something else

I’m 5’6” 135 and I have a pair and I love em not super buttery but super responsive and consistent

I have skied them for a few seasons, they soften up a little and get some more rocker. They actually become playful-ish, and they are very supportive in butters, whereas some skis feel too easy to overpower. Imo the swing weight stuff isn’t really a big deal.

fuckin dope rodeo 7

I’m biased asf since my fav skis in the past were Iron Maiden’s and then recoils but I think the stiffness and weight feels amazing. Feels soooo controlled in the air, rarely wash out, etc. I think it’s worth it to buy heavier skis for the added stability underfoot, plus you just get used to the weight. Stiffness is a preference thing but you can definitely flex them with proper technique and speed. They’re also bombproof.

I've had 2 pairs /claim and I have loved them. Super bouncy and responsive, will get flexed out and buttery the more you work them. Can actually rip all mountain on them too since they're not soft. I still don't understand the mega soft ski fad
