K2 PE's, 179 what should be mounted and where?

Hey everybody,

My brother wants to buy some PE's (08) soon, the only problem is that he doesn't know what bindings he should mount on them and where he should mount them. I didn't knew it either so maybe you guys could help...

This is the first pair of twintips he's going to use, he will use them for groomers as well park. He has 15 weeks of normal skiing-experience, but he wants to try a bit more freestyle stuff.

So, where should he mount his bindings and what bindings should he use?

4-5cm forward from midsole will give you the most versatile riding for all mountain/park riding. Once you go to 6-7.5cm forward your getting yourself into a more park specific position.
 
i mounted at +5 and its perfect for groomers and park. look px12's or some rossis would be good.
 
i mounted mine +3 from midsole. they do great in powder for an 85 waist, but the swing weight is around 234280437204274039 lbs. so at least +5 or so.
 
I had mine at +5.5 and they were about perfect all mountain, and as stated already, get Look px somethings or rossis for bindings.
