it's personal preference as to what you like and don't like from either company from past experience, demo them both and then decide foryourself, both are decent skis for sure but if you need to know now then id' suggest the pe, it's quite a bit burlier than the 1080 adn cooler graphics

Get the K2 skis, The PE's are totally sick and k2 support's our movement. They sponsor core guys develop kids at grassroots levels and make kick ass skis. But, put solomon bindings on them 'cus they are the best.
