Hey i'm 5.5 and 166cm i'm pretty light 120 punds or 50 kgs although i dont mind riding a bigger ski. I live in WHistler, its receives much snow and has a kick ass terain park.

Im looking into the obsethed for a one ski quiver of Whistler. I under stand it charges big mountain and shreds pow i also heard it was fine on the groomers. HOWEVER.........

WHAT IS THE K2 OBSETHED LIKE IN THE PARK?

-Is it heavy or light

-is it easy to spin

-is it good or bad on rails

Thanks heeeps and i would greatly appreciate comments on the obsethed's park peformance!

Hi, I also live in Whistler and have ObSETHeds. To answer your questions it is pretty light, but probably not that light compared to park skis. Because it is fairly wide spinning is a bit harder. I think that they're pretty good on rails, but probably not as good as park skis. Overall for they are pretty adequate in the park, but I wouldn't recommend them if you were planning to use them in the park a lot.

I bet they are pretty fun in the park, I haven't used the obsethed specifically, but I am a huge fan of fat skis in the park. They are super stable on jumps and are fun on rails as long as you're not planning on getting super tech. Basically, it's just a metter of personal preference. Some people hate fat skis in the park and some love them. The obsethed sounds like a perfect one ski quiver in Whistler.

they will take some time to get used to in the park. i found them harder to spin then a regular park ski. didnt like them too much on rails though. im sure if i rode them longer i would have gotten used to it. but for jumps they will work and for anything out of the terrain park they will kill it.
