are these any different from the 0708 k2 seths, graphics look the same but does anyone know if they changed the ski at all?
 
EVERYTHING is different, even the graphics

there 105 underfoot, more of a rocker but not as much as the hellbent.

Does anyone know the sidecut on them? I want to know if they fattened the ski up all over or just inflated the waist. That ski had arguably one of the best shapes ever and would be sick at 105 with the same sidecut.
 
Not too sure if its been beefed up but I reaooy doubt they made it smaller. I mean, seth designed it from the ground up from what i hear.
 
im getting some next year FER SHER. without a doubt. now that its 105 underfoot, mmmmmmm..... best ski out therrr i would believe. hopefully they can keep the weight down.
 
dope as hell. finally they have sick graphics again. the last two seasons graphic, i thought were pretty weak. i used to have the 189 green and pink vicious. such a dope ski, now with 105 under foot. thats badass
 
Man, those hellbents, I want to buy them just because of the graphic, that's the first time I've ever even thought of a ski just for graphics.
 
I prefer this year's graphics for the Seth and Hellbent, but the dimensions/rocker on the Obsethed are going to rule
 
I am for sure going to get a pair of seths next year, I just have to decide between 179 and 189 now. Soooo stoked that they are 105mm waist for 08/09. Does anyone know the complete dimentions? I hope Seth kept the sidecut the same.
 
i'm bumping this thread back up now that sia is done... but, eh, is there going to only be a rocker in the tip this year? because if they added it in the tail, i'm getting this ski. but, uh, dang. i'm not too sure that more rocker in the tip and none in the tail would be a great thing... it seems like it would make you ski backseat, but maybe i just don't know anything. if someone could enlighten me, that would be absolutely fantastic.
 
i'm at least 85 percent certain that there is a rcoker in the tip and tail.

don't know if you have skied on a rocker before or not, but it's the best thing ever to happen to you.

and yea, i know all about the rockered skis. i have bents, and i can't believe how sick they are. ;)
 
Sidecut is 138/105/125

I currently ride on 186 prophet 90's and can't decide if I should get these or a hellbents for next years as an addition to my quiver...
 
i went from public enemys (now called "extremes") to the obSETHed and all i could do was say wow and keep going. theyll do anything from cliffs to rails, harpack and of course they charge in pow. best ski...ever? buy em with the marker jesters.
 
obsethed's are the best ski i've ridden so far. I have them w/ griffons. Powder, cliffs, backcountry, jumps, rails, even pipe. They're only changing the graphics for next years model!!!!! I would reccomend getting Jesters mounted 3+ from reccomended.
