I think i am gunna get the 07 179 maden's but i have no clue were abouts to mount them for an all mtn ski including park

i have mine at +5 and i use them in the park quite a bit, they do pretty well but i think they could go a bit more forward, cause they already float really really well at +5 so if you went like +6 or 7 it wouldnt hurt. it depends on how much park you want to do though. in a couple months when theres no powder left im remounting mine at true center.

my vicious are at +5 and that is a great all mnt ski works well in the park and for shreding the gnar. but if you plan to do at least 40% park I might go with +6-7.5. should still do well out side the park. If I got maddens I would mount them at +7.5-10 for both park and bc booters.

this person is an idiot. line makes quality product, especially the chronic, it's one of the toughest skis on the market. and any delam crap they say about it is bullshit, cause every ski delams occasionally, it's just Line was having delam problems with this years invaders, which is something they fixed on next years model. then someone asked if chronics delammed as well, if these idiots had actually read the thread, they would have learned what i just said, and would of read numerous accounts of the chronics durability.

how do the madens 179 compare to motherships 182? are the madens softer/stiffer, lighter/heavier? how are they in the park?

how are you comparing a chronic wide and a made'n man? that is like elephants to tigers like completely different types of ski

The madens are softer and a little heavier, but they are avtualy aboyt the same length. And I went with plus 3 on mine and like it. but I dont ski them switch them very often.
