I did not ever get to see both skis next to one another, and so I never knew that one ski base is black and the other is red.

its actually a smart part on k2, they save money by only using 1 set of diecuts for the bases, instead of two. less waist=more rice!

You will not get two different bases with the full production run, just two black or two red ones.

 
Yes they are bigger than the Seth Vicious and a bit softer flex through the nose to bring it up in powder.

 
^ not size because check the picture dude! both skis are the same size! it's probably just whatever you happen to get like with lines pollards with the white or the brown bases for example. it would be pretty sick though to buy one of each from a shop.

 
i think it look sstupid when the two bases are different colors, like the scratches were this year
