K2 Kahunas

The Kahuna is two years old. You'll have to search eBay or look for the Made N' AK. Those two skis have the same shape and construction...
 
i saw a pair in a shop at the end of last year....if your realy intrested in those and not the made'n i could call over there and see if they still have them. message me

The Kahunas and Made'n are the exact same ski. Only difference is topsheet and Kahunas only offered in 189cm.

There was the K2 Big Kahunas awhile a go. Basically AK Launcher.
 
no longer distributed or made...so they would have to be old. So, check ebay and ski forums. That is your best bet.
 
^ actually, i think there was a lot of talk about the kahuna when it came out... shit talking mostly, about how it was too soft and made for rich old men who go heli-skiing, not "core" blah blah. apparently a new paintjob fixed all that.

Yup, I'm really fucking wrong...except that I've seen pairs floating around at Whistler, and being ridden. So, guess not.

179 was rare, but I've seen it.

Even if you DID see a pair, they were never released into the public market. You kids today.....

If you've seen them...great! wow...have a cookie. No...take two. They must have been athlete skis. But, that ski, with a Blue Kahunas graphic, were not distributed to the public in a 179. You couldn't go to any store and buy them. Could you get them from K2? I'm sure.

and me being the only gear snob? A handful of other people who actually know their shit agree that a 179 Kahuna was never sold public.
 
technically speaking Jib This is correct. No one specified publicly released 179. he jsut said he saw 179s. and the thread creator was asking if he could get a pair. If in fact these mysterious 179s were made (which i have no idea about), even if it were only for pros, the kid could still get a pair of 179s. jsut because they were made for pros doesnt mean they arent accessible now.
 
Stop fighting, who cares. I have been looking all over online and can't find any for sale. There are some deals though on Made'Ns if you go to froogle (google price finder). If that fails, buy some Powder Plus fat boys. 125/113/118 ish. They're cheap too. Be sure not to buy them with some old hag-nast bindings, because then your shop wont mount 'em.
 
I FOUND A PAIR, im not saying where though because someone will probaly buy themm before me. the guy is asking 450$ is that a good price? i was thinking below 400
