hippy stinx is huuuge....piste pipe is almost exactly like the PE, except it's a little softer and a little narrower under foot. i work at a shop and have been checking out the piste pipe for months, i think i'm gonna invest in a pair next season. the flex is also a little more controlled so you can really hold a turn on your toes

I've always thought it would be dope to mount either of those up with alpine bindings. Plus the graphics on the piste pipe is sweet as hell. It would be one unique setup.

They're made for tele, but I bet you could use them for anything.

'Duran Duran bought Armada, Armada bought Microsoft, Microsoft bought MSP and AOL, AOL owns Time4 which owns the MountainSportsMedia which owns SKi, Skiing and RIP Freeze... so Armada now owns McDonalds and Coke.

The Hippy Stinx has the same shape as the Seth Pistol and the Piste Pipe has the same shape as the 04/05 Public Enemy.

Both those tele skis have inserts are they are sweet. Most tele skis in the K2 line are slightly softer than the alpine skis (since tele boots are a little softer than alpine boots) but these tele skis have the same flex patterns as thier alpine counterparts. They're pretty much the same as the alpine skis, they just have inserts and different graphics...

go to jay or mad river if you want to see lots of people on them

theres no problem and no difference between hippie stix and seth pistols except the graphics, you can put alpine bindings on with no worries. And I think it looks sick, there are a few people that ride like that around here cuz hipopie stix are cheaper.

Ya, i know k2 states that the dimensions are different as well as the flexes but its just a way of differentiating the alpine line from the tele line. i mean teler's need a reason aside from the inserts to buy the tele line rather than the alpine line so k2 just makes them look slightly different. also last season there were a couple of maden'ak's with hippy stinx graphics floating around, super sick.

The shape is exactly the same, it does not matter if the tips and tails have different listed measurements in this case. They're made in the exact same mold and have the exact same shape.

what do you need to know about them? i've got the piste pipe and will soon have hippy's they both rip! and even though they have similar dimensions to pistols and publics they are a lot different, i have those too.

They are a lot different? Please enlighten me as to how they are different? I'm not talking about reciting ski company propaganda either. They all measure dimensions and lengths creatively in order to appeal to different markets. I don't care what anybody says the pistols and hippies are the same minus the inserts.

theres often no differense beetween tele skis and alpine nowdays, just design.

They mostly make them so that the telemarkers will buy a ski from them, marketing..
