K2 Hellbent worth it?

I can get a used pair of 2010 Hellbents in decent condition with marker griffons for $100. Is this a good deal or nah?

I like skiing the bent sometime, and the 2010 shape was really nice, there are soft and playful. BUT man they're heavy

Super fun skis, but SOOOO heavy and floppy. There are alot of better options out there, but theyll work. unless you are focusing on switch pow and bottomless fresh snow, id think youd be happier with a narrower, stiffer ski

Got some 2009 179s for $50 and mounted them with $80 griffons and they're so much fun been using them for Spring riding and they're so fun!

If you can find a deal on Surface New Life's, they are almost the exact same dimensions (HB is a touch narrower in the tail), but both stiffer and lighter.

$100 for a pair of hellbents is worth it even if you are just fucking around with them in the spring, they aren't that great of pow skis compared to something stiffer, but cruising around on spring slush is a blast

Hellbents are always worth it, until you get too big for them like I did. They are super fun, it's a different vibe than skiing on most other skis

They are pretty much the definition of a fuck around ski, for $100 you can't go far wrong, they might suck some of the time but there will be at least a bunch of days where you surf around with a big stupid grin on your face because of how much fun you are having on them. Even if you only ever get 5 of those days = $20/day, that's value for money.
