So I ski in Alta, Utah and I need a ski that can ski 0% park 70% pow and 30% variable. I am 5'10 and I weigh 140. I like to Hit Kickers and land switch, butter and mess around, and ski fast down steep stuff. Which ski would be best for me? thanks NS!
 
Definitely go caylor that what I have and I do the same type of skiing as you do. it has the perfect flex pattern for buttering and still being able to charge and go fast. the hellbent is way to soft for what you are trying to do and I when I flexed the petitor at my ski shop they felt really soft too but maybe its just me I have not really had any experience with the other two but I think the cease and desist would be also be a good ski but not as good on variable than the caylor.

TL;DR go with the caylor it is the superior ski imo
 
I have the K2 Obsethed, idk how the pettitor feels but k2s doing something right, For how soft the seth is, its pretty stable.
 
I own the pettitors, and although they are soft in the tip and tail, they are quite stiff underfoot and seem stable, they are also pretty light if you like that.
 
Seriously. Too many people commenting on skis they have no experience on, Gear Talk getting ridiculous these days.

I found the Caylor's to be one of the best skis I've been on. If you are looking for a jib powder ski that is stable in nearly all conditions, can float well and smear turns, remain nimble in the trees, but still can be pointed straight, the Caylor is that ski. Way more versatile than the size would indicate, even in less than desirable conditions.

OP, you should really evaluate what you are looking for. I wouldn't consider the Cease & Desist to be a ski I would be skiing/landing switch on. But out of the other 3 choices, I would choose the Caylor, no question about it.

Caylor DESTROYS the BC when it comes to stability, and charging crud at speed. Even railing groomers. Float, and maneuverability in pow are about equal.

Since it got brought up. This years Billygoats are fucking trucks that will take you for a high speed ride if you sit back on them. But become really nimble if you ski them like a man. Was loving them today.
 
I normally never get to brag about my gear seeing I usually buy used crap but This year is different. Brand spanking new Billy goats with new Sth 14 Drivers. Now if it will Just fucking snow in Aspen I could ride them.

I ride Caylors in a similar style to you and love them. I'm a little shorter but about the same weight, and they keep me on top of the heavy coastal pow here in WA.
 
Based on that description, Caylors for sure. They're super hard charging but still bidirectional. The bgs and c&ds charge harder but won't land backwards nearly as well.
