I just wanted to know if they are better than the PE's. I've heard a lot of shit about how the PE's chip really easily. Besides the durability, how do they ski?

The PE and the Fugative are completely different..

Fugative- 100% Park ski

Public Enemy- All mountian twin

I have the PE and the top sheat 'chips' a little bit but you can fix it easy with a file. It is a great ski.

lucky. usoutdoorstore.com over sold so im not gettin' any from them. luckily the guy at me local shop was cool and let me in on a secret that he had 3 pairs of the 179's stashed at their distribution place, and he ordered on up for me. they'll be here on thursday (feb 19th) cant wait!!

ok looked up shit on the search couldn't find what i wanted to know about the Fujitives...

1. stiff? soft?

2. Can they ride powder or is it only groomed parks for these?

3. how do they handdle in crud?

ok. this is what i know. they are looking to be one of the softest twins on the market. they have flex points right in front of and behind where you bindings are. i think that this would make them good in bumps because of a soft tip, im sure they are good in pow b/c the 85 mm waist, and there is now ski that ultimatly sucks on groomers, but these wont be as good for high speeds. i personally havent ridden them, but like i said, i get mine on thursday so i'll let you know...

honestly, i dont think there is a difference in performance with a cap and sidewall ski, i know that sidewall skis can take more impact with less damage, but honestly it doesnt affect performance, if it did why would anyone make a cap ski... i.e. mad trix,fujative,1080,pocket rocket,most line skis, and not to mention all the non-twin tip skis.

if you ski any ski hard it wont last much more than a season anyway.

I have a theory that all retards have one long tendon that goes from wrist to wrist, so therefore that is why they always are screwin around with one wrist up, and the other one down.

well i demoed a pair of 179 FJT at sunday river last week and i must say they're sick !! They RIP in the park and pipe, but they handle pretty well all over the mountain. I've been hearing that these are 100% park skis, and that they dont perform outside the park ... bullshit. Sure they're not the best for bumps or for super GS turns but they do a pretty good job all around the mountain

I have a question....schlonginator, you said they do a pretty good job on all mountain, if you have ever ridden on a line 1260..or anyone else has and ridden a fujative, how do they compare for all-mountain? I know the fujative would kill it in the park but, I ride my 1260's all mtn. quite a bit and they're fine so I was just curious...thanks.

ok, i just got off of mine and heres what i have to say. people are all up in arms about how these ski will suck everywhere but the park, and they are wrong. of coarse you cant take them in super high speed turns and stuff, but the will still be able to get you around the mountain. they manual really well and butter really well also. they dont seem like they have a lot of pop to them, but you can manage. i got mine center mounted and they are pretty sweet. any one else got any questions i will be happy to answer them.

hey, permanente1600 I have a question for you, how well do they preform outside of the park for all-mtn? Like you said they wont be winning a gs race but how well do they hold an edge, and how are they for just cruising around? I ride mostly park but I like riding all-mtn. and when my girlfriend goes skiing with my I ride all-mtn. most of the time, I on the old Line 1260's with are as about as most park spef. as you can go, and I think they're alright, so I was just curious. thanks for your time!

hey fo all u idiots who make assumptions that fujatives suck outside the park how about u ride them first. i rode them 3 days at breck. i skied everything from bumps, to bowls, to groomers, to park and pipe. they are fucking sick and yes they can ski groomers maybe nto as good as some twins but they work fine. my friend has AR5's and i rode them and they are way harder to ski on groomers than fujs. and for the park they are fucking sick, they are great switch. they give great pop of the lip.

The FJT handle well at high speed, well the 179s handle well dont know about the shorter lengths

A lot of you will have a great time on them outside the park because its mostly the skier, not the ski. Generally, softer skis have a harder time holding an edge on ice and I doubt they will not bounce around in choppier stuff. Why did I chime in on this? ---> Its 3:30am and Im pretty bored. Im also going crazy seeing that Ive not gone skiing in 2 wks, but lingerie parties will do that to you.

well long story short i got shafted on a deal with thoes Fugatives, i would like to give a big FUCK YOU to Jeff Thommas, and Grant Gunderson. thanks guys for screwing my out of my new skis assholes. so now i sit looking at my unmounted 1080's my unmounted bindings and $200 cash this is a gay situation. second of all i was wondering if anyone has riden the motherships and can compaired them to the Fujatives? i don't want park rats on this one, i want to know how they compaire in power, trees, and all over the MT i know they are both good jib skis (the FJT more for park them motherships) and i know the FJT don't like to grip the ice. powder and crud is what i'm most concered about.

someone who owns a pair of FJT's needs to do me a huge favor, go measure you ski, and tell me if the mounting mark that says 'core center' is at the center of the ski, like same distance from tip to tail. i would do this on my pair, but oddly enough, there are no mounting marks on the skis. the reason i ask is cuz i asked the guys at my shop to mount them at 'core center' not knowing that my skis didnt have the marks on the sides, and they went ahead and mounted my skis at ski center. im just wondering how screwed i got by the guys at my shop.

hi , my local ski shop has fugi's for $379.99 is that to much, i dont trust to get them off the internet, id rather buy them in person, i also have only skied 3 seasons, im 14, 5'9'', weigh 130lbs. i think im gonna get rossi power bindings, do all of you think this is a good combination and it that a good price ?

I just dont buy them because i heard they get really fucked up on rails and then fall apart... anyone had them for more than 5 months skiing?
