i had some enemies that i bought for $120 like a year ago, and the tips started delamming real bad, so i took em in and sent them back, it happened to be 1 day outside of warranty, so anyways just now i picked up my 04 pubs, and im fucking stoked

my friend had a similar thing happen to him, accept he broke his in front of the binding, and didn't have a reciept, but they still replaced em

you musta gotten a new batch or somethin. my buddy broke both his enemy's (in the same fall) and it took them more than 2 months to get him some new ones.

any body at K2... if you are reading this keep it up.. same with any other company.. warrnety is a big deal and you just made me want to guy a pair of K2 skis.

ya i really dont know what to buy, some of the 05 line skogens, or the pistols, and the warranty is definitely a big deal for me so this might have influenced my decision

i had my 04 enemies for 4 days and ripped the toe piece out and said fuck that and got scratch bcs

midwest its 1 year ifrom date of purchase, but if you dont have a receipt then its 1 year from the date they were manufactured

and ye they got em back to the shop real quick, but the guys at the shop are fags and they took like 4 weeks to get em from the warehouse to the shop, i was about to kick the guys ass

How much damage do the skis need to have for them to replace them? My PEs have the peeling on the topsheet on the corners that i've heard has been happening to a lot of people, and a couple of gouges on the edge of the topsheet. They ski just fine, but is that enough?

hmm, i'll be the first bad review then eh? I bought two pairs of enemies 4 years ago. (don't ask why, i sure as hell don't know why.) within a year one pair delamed on the tip and the other pair had an edge pull out. i didn't get a nice reception from k2. didn't get a new pair or anything. so i went to line and i've been happy with their warranty ways so far. i guess i just had a bad day with k2 because i haven't heard too many other bad complaints about k2. salomon though, ya. they suck. another story, another day.

Companies that obey - even stretch - their warranties are to be commended. All skis are going to have some degree of failure, and the company should stand behind it and give you new product. There are stories of abusers (we don't know any, of course) that ski 'em for a season and WHACK - hello, Mr. Customer Service dork? I need noew ones. Honesty is usually the best policy.

 
i delamed a apair of k2 enemies the ones with that usa pattern graphic on the bottom, and when i told them, they said to bad so sad, were not covering them, i was abusing them past what the warrentied covered. I said whatever F*ck you.

Don;t take me wrong im not a k2 hater, and depending on the ski design and quality i would defintly ski another k2 ski, in fact those enemies rocked everywhere, until they exploded.....

do you guys walk around down town with your skis on cause i got the enimies and have skied them hard for tw full seasons and they are only a little bit scratched up from rocks and trees

i skid them like 15 days pne season, then like 50 or 60 this season, but they were falling apart after like the 5th or sixth day of this season, i just kept skiing em, i never walked around town with em... well there was that one time

I still think companies need to step things up in the warranty department. Never Summer snowboards have a 3 year warranty. My friend had one of their freeride boards and he got a bunch of cracks in the edges from doing rails and then it started to delaminate. I thought there was no way they would replece it but he got a brand new one in the mail like 2 weeks after sending it in. 4frnt has the 2 year which is sweet and I think Atomic still does. 2 year is key man because you need to be able to ski stuff hard for 2 full seasons before worrying about them falling apart.
