K2 Extremes Review

After skiing on these skis for one whole season i can say that they have to be one of the best skis ever. They have alot of forgiveness and and great on Money booters. The only problem i fiind with mine are they are too long (179cm). Any other people have this that agree or disagree?

Near the end of my season where i just broke them in, due to the fact that i shred mostly on my JJ's. I only spent maybe an hour on my K2's but once they're broken in they're fucking fun. So Buttery !

I didn't really like them. I thought they felt kinda like dead weight and like there was no life to the ski. They were good switch and carving but they weren't awesome skis. One thing that really annoyed me were the rivets in the tip and tail because i would catch one ski on the other ones rivets when doing butters or sketchy landings. The good thing about them was that they were the right size for me(184 and i'm 6'2), they also weren't that bad in powder. At speed i thought they chattered a lot and flexed too much to be stable. I dont know about everyone else's but on my skis there was about 4 inches of topsheet peeling off of one ski and it started to feel water logged, also they chipped more than anything i've ever ridden. All around ok ski but i didnt like it.

I also have k2 extremes but i dont know where to mount them does anyone have suggestions? I ski the park 70% and powder 30% of the time.

Im riding on 2009 Kung Fujas, 179cm, and I agree that they are abit too long...im pretty sure K2 changed their sizing around for this year. I looked at the Extremes, not fat enough.
