K2 extremes. good? bad?

k2 skis as a whole are really high quality but there topsheets are the downside my hellbents are pretty chipped up pub there still in great condition otherwise but they should serve you fine other than being a bit heavy

Great park ski. A bit heavy but those who complain about it being too heavy have toothpicks for legs. Overall a great park ski. I love mine.

I have a pair and I love them. Just be prepared for some major gouges in your topsheet/sidewalls. After a season last year they looked like they went through 5 seasons.

Don't let that turn you off of them though, they are fun as hell. They will shred the mountain and destroy rails.

I skied the public enemies for years, which are pretty much identical, just the older version. Love the skis, but like everyone else says, be prepared to gouge the heck out of the top sheets. Epoxy over the chips works well for re-sealing them.

yeah i don't know why people don't get it. shits gonna be heavy to pick up, my disorderlys are, but they feel nothing of the sorts on your legs. I'd bet the extremes chip a lot, my disorderlys do. but the bases and edges are good.

The k2 extremes are heavy, no doubt, but they are a good beginners ski because they can do almost anything but they are very stiff, and have a low swing weight but they hold up well for bigger landings

I skied my extremes for roughly about 60 days. Mostly beat the shit out of them on rails. Skied super nicely all around and are a super solid ski. The bases can take some heavy beating. I really liked these skis and the graphics are one of my favorites ever ! Hope you like skiing them.

i have had my extremes for 3 years now...beat to crap...and there way flexed out.....there ok for park, IF you center mount them, but a good all mountain ski, the topsheets get distroyed though

i have had my k2 extremes for 2 and a half seasons now, top sheet looks like it has gone through a shredder..... but that give it such a sick look ^^
underneath is crazy strong, side walls are pretty sturdy too, though a bit heavy these skis are mega durable and ultimate all mountain ski, im going to try and milk them for another 3 seasons, shouldn't be a problem though
K2 extreme.... what else

yea they're good, but i beat the living shit out of mine, need new skis next year. i bought them used off of here. the prevous owner had 2 seasons on them but there wasn't any edge cracks - just some top sheet chipping and the edges were duller. ridden them on rails for around 45 days this year, and got 3-4 edge cracks, 4-5 inches of edge ripped out in the tail, and where the edge cracks were, base started to pull away from the ski.

super fun to ski though, pretty stiff and even thought that ^^^ doesn't make them sound very durable, i beat the shit out of my skis and they were already used.
