Just saw these on dan's story, idk anything else about them but I think its cool to see that k2 will likely be continuing the dk line. They also look pretty sick

Hyped to see Taylor have her own boot. Tbh the k2 colors of the Boots look better than the FT colors have been the last few years. K2 graphic also reminds me of the Vintage k2 graphics. [tag=109505]@bradwalters[/tag] did u have anything to do with these?

those two make sense in terms of K2 owning Line so these skiers having a boot is all kosher business wise.

sad that it seems B&E boot is no more, understand why that would happen. (Phil and Henrik riding for armada) Still sucks tho.

overall, k2 def making some bigger plays rn. Stoked to see where it all goes. Especially with the additions of McKenna and Keegan to their team.

I love how everyone acted like the world was over when the rebrand was announced and now we’re more stoked on k2’s offering than FT’s

When we started working on the K2 / FL3X rebrand the athlete boots were already mostly in the bag. These boots that you're seeing here like the TBL, Sammy, B&E and TW were designed by a very talented designer named Mark Cruz.

Other than those pro boots - the internal team and myself aimed to give the 3 piece boots a new look, bring them into the K2 vibe, but keep the excitement that FT was known for. Collectively we knew we wanted to add more color options, especially in the women's line.

I did my best to stay pretty quiet on the subject until they were debuted at a tradeshow. It was a hard one to keep hush but I am stoked on the love and REALLY stoked to keep the gas on with the rest of the K2 team with not only the FL3X boots but the rest of the K2 collection.

-insane team (x games athletes, street riders, backcountry wizards, and Ameritech homies who make fire insta posts)

-grade A gear (FT boots, reckoners, poachers, also more affordable than other top of the line competitors)

-fund dope projects like brapski

-have been around for decades and have never ONCE stopped investing into park skiing. Have always produced top of the line park skis and catered towards the freestyle market, while also expanding into other branches of the sport (casuals, downhill, etc)

the last point is really important. Because K2 has managed to become a household name without EVER sacrificing freestyle skiing, and has ALWAYS supported the dopest homies. They gave us stept a decade ago, and even after they left they kept investing in smaller freestyle skiers despite being a now massive company. Currently they are giving us joona, EZ, keegs, Karl, and many more.

Good thing plastics have improved so much since the days of the OG Raichle Flexon 5's.

Mine ended up cracking when I bumped them together to remove some snow after skiing one day.

Seems they were only two years old or so.

I'm stoked K2 got the boots now. K2 makes good stuff!
 
Yeah it’s the first ever womens pro model boot!

im really stoked with how we made the lineup work. I honestly believe it’s the best line we have ever had with these boots.

we have far more womens boots, the mens line is simpler and still has all the key models and the athletes are all on board still

going to get even better moving forward too so hyped you guys like it so far!
