K2 domains

so what are your thoughts on them and how will they work for a 250 pound guy skiing basically 85% park. also how does the rocker and 0 camber effect the ride. and will it handle the icy conditions often found in southeastern Michigan?

haha, you caught me.

Domains are sick, I had the pleasure of demoing them last spring and I know have the pleasure of getting them for the entire season this year. They are SO much fun all over the mountain, the rocker powers over everything (including spring crud) and the zero camber made surface swaps and other rail tricks SO much fun. They are fairly light and very stable, the biggest length (179, but it actually measures to 183) should be fine for you and they're 90 underfoot so you'll have a nice stable platform. Unfortunately, I can't really answer the ice question since there's no ice in March, but they edged around just fine for me, didn't really notice any difference. Such an amazing and fun ski, I definitely recommend them.

If you are 250, I would recommend the Revival. You'll have more of a platform underfoot and probably be happier at high speeds and chopped up gnarly snow.

yeah, I was just on my way back here to say that - I rethought the weight and I think the Revival would be way more enjoyable for you.

i have no idea, but you would still want a stiff ski even to butter, if you got a soft ski you would flex it in half.

You should be able to butter the revivals at your weight. The revivals are fairly similar to the k2 extremes (the main difference is that they are rockered). The extremes were not the softest skis around but they butter nicely after breaking them in. It should be the same with the revivals. They will actually be even better for buttering because of the jib rocker.

The revivals sound like a good match to your needs and your physical structure.

ok thats delightful info cause i almost bought the domains today but figured it would be better to waitthanks all for the help
