I Skis just about alll park . im just wondering whoch is better , need some opinions . i know there both rockered and everything,

I think it's gonna be rare for you to find someone who actually owns both, so here's my 2 cents.I'd kill for my k2 Domains.

Lol, + epic amount of karma.

@ op:

Get 2012's. My friend has them and he loves them! Super light, great in park and all over the mountain. Durability isn't an issue like other salmons because they don't have edge armour (to much tension in wires and they snap when force is put on them, then edge falls out).

I've heard mixed reviews about domains, some people love em, some people hate them.

I own 2012s and demoed the Domains, so I can speak for how the Domains ski but not on durability. I personally like my 2012s alot better. They're about a 6 for flex on a scale of 1 to 10, the Domains are about a 4. The Domains were alot more fun for nollies and presses because they snapped right back when you put some weight into them. However, I hated how they caught up alot on groomers, making it really diffcult to carve. The 2012s are really good for carving, on groomers and on jumps. I didnt really do anything on jumps with the Domains, so I cant really speak for that, but the 2012s are perfect for them. I never find myself washing out of anything like I did with my old park skis. On rails they were about the same, the edges were really sharp on the Domains because they were demos which I'm not used to, but they were still super fun. My 2012s also shred pow super good, I love them for absolutely everything. Alot of people are skeptical about Salomons durability, and while there skis with edge armor might be super shitty for that, my 2012s have held up really well and they have 36 days on them and countless backyard sessions, theres a little bit of topsheet chipping but nothing serious and theres no edge cracks. My friends Kung Fujas have been used one season, and a foot and a half of sidewall has blownout underfoot and the edge has ripped out along the whole tip of one ski, then the other day he landed backseat one a foot high flat box and the right ski snapped in half. My other friend has silencers that have about 20 days on them and have no edge underfoot on either side. Thats my experience with K2, but Salomon skis without edge armor seem to hold up really well. Hope that helps, both skis are really fun but the whole hard to carve part on the Domains instantly gives Salomon the upper hand for me.

i've skied on twentytwelves, not domains, but from what i've heard they're pretty damn similar skis, and the twentytwelves i skied on were awesome. buy the one that's cheaper.

and to ^^, i would not rate the twentytwelves as a 6 on a flex scale, they're crazy soft. if a 10 is a race ski, i'd call my volkl bridges a 7, anthems a 5, twenty twelves a 3.
