K2 Domains or Line Afterbangs?

afterbangs = bombproof. afterbangs are very heavy + good on rails. havent heard anything on the domains

the only afterbangs i have seen are beat to shit and splitting, i never owned them but I would not call them bombproof

domains any day, i am considering getting those too. afterbangs are just... afterbangs.

also, the domains are 90 underfoot which makes it sort of a bit more of an all-mountain ski. that along with the jib rocker makes it my choice over the afterbangs

my frined got afterbangs and they delaminated at the tip after 6 or 7 days on snow but he did get them warrantied and they did seem sick when he had them
my other friend had domains but he was like 6'4 195 pounds and he thought they washed out way to easily but hes a big guy and he ended up snapping them from landing a bit backseat too many times and he switched to a 187 4frnt msp the other end of the spectrum and likes it alot more
and both these guys shred some hard park but if ur a little guy looking for a real playful ski you will probably be able to flex the domains harder if ur a normal size guy if u want butteryer go domain if u want popier go after bang and if ur a big guy go after bang

if u get afterbangs make sure u get marker squires or other really light bindings cuz they are soooo heavy

Rode afterbangs for a few years and they are a ton of fun. Mostly made for jibbin and smaller more fun and creative things. If you want to go ride pipe and hit main line booters then you might want to look into the Domains. Elsewise an all around fun ski would be the Afterbangs. And as for Afterbangs falling apart I never had any problems. Around the edges of the topsheet the topcoat does come off some but thats all the more problem I had.

Glad I didn't have to make my own thread to ask pretty much the same question, although since I'm 6'1" and 195 I was going to ask domain or step up.

Looks like the domain is the prevailing choice.
