Can somebody that has skiied atleast one of these skis tell me how they like them? I'm stuck and don't know what one I want to get.. I ski on only like 1000 ft. mountains during the winter so i ski mostly park but I do go up to Vermon/Newyork area atleast twice a year and sometimes outwest.. So help would be appreciated. Thanks

No clue about the Recoils since they come out this year. For the Domains look up Flashkick101 in members, he did a real nice review of them from last year.

What kind of park skiing do you prefer? How much all mountain do you do?

Domains are a more jibby, pure park ski, (softer, symmetrical, jib rocker.) Whereas the Recoil is a little more all-mountain/jump orientated. (All-terrain rocker, directional, and stiffer.)

Domain - Soft ski, fun to play around on, low swing weight, decent pop, really fun on rails, ok on jumps, ok on groomers.

I haven't skied the retail version of the Recoil (I skied the Revival for a few runs last year and I skied a prototype of the Recoil for about a week mid-season...but I was told they changed a lot since then cause they were basically the Revival but softer). From what I've heard, the final release of the Recoil is slightly softer than the Revival (but not nearly as soft as the Domain), but this version has camber underfoot (so it's rocker, camber, rocker), which gives it a lot more pop.

Between the two...tough call, the Recoil will have more pop, but the Domain is certainly more rail oriented ski with the symmetry, zero camber, and soft flex.

I do want to note, the K2 team has been on the Recoil a lot (not exactly sure if it's for marketing purposes and they were told to ride the hell out of them...that happens a lot, or if they really like them). When a team (especially a team as stacked at the current K2 team and how park/rail/urban oriented they are) skis a ski that much, they're usually pretty good (although, that's been proven wrong in the past...afterbang...)

Thanks soo much. I'm not sure which one I'm going to go with yet.. But yeah I ski jumps more than rails so might go with the recoil.. And yeah, my brother had the afterbang last season.. It was supposed to hold up really well right? well it didn't.. And line sent him a new ski haaha

And by the way.. What ski do you ski? I'm just still looking around and you really seem to know what you are talking about. haha

Between the two, if you ski more jumps, then defiantly the Recoil, I actually enjoyed my testers, I just wish the protos lasted longer...(they weren't really ment too...and they fixed it, which is sweet).

I'm rocking the ON3P Filthy Rich's this year. Decided to go with no sponsor for a season to actually enjoy skiing this year, haha (long story, basically I just kinda lost the fun last season, and I decided I should just ski for me). I'm stoked on them.

Ok. Thanks man. This is the part I hate every year.. Having to choose which ski I would like haha. but thanks man. I appreciate it.

Biggest flop of a twin-tip ski that I can think of,I can't believe Line got rid of the anthems/invaders for this "skateboard construction" garbage.

I spent last season on the Domain which I loved. Did everything I asked of it. Skied switch well, good swing weight, etc...

Skied the Recoils at Easter last season. Phenomenal ski! I'm more of an "all mountain" skier and it ripped. Took it in the bumps, park, groomers and it was super solid. Ripped turns both forwards and switch. Nice feel off jumps and all round just sick.

I skied a few laps on the recoil. It was a fun ski, carved well, poppy but I found them too stiff for my liking. Granted I spent the season on Lizzies and EP Pros so you can take that with a pinch of salt. They were stiffer than Kung Fujas which I also tried and preferred.

The Domains were much more my kind of thing. The ones I tried were too short but they definitely seemed like a lot of fun. Very buttery and easy to play on. They carved pretty well too, but less so than the Domains/Fujas. I'm considering them for my park skis this season. Only thing I don't like is the graphics (which shouldn't matter but hey).
