K2 Boots-worth the hype?

Tried a pair on last season at a demo, and they were feeling good, but I'm not quite sure if I want to make the investment. Anyone have any good freeride or big mountain days on them? The Demo was on some groomers in Northern MI, so they really weren't put to a true test.

We had a pair of the 130s to test in the shop last season

to narrow for my feet... but the guy i work with loved them, rode them freeriding for 2 months and will use them this season and he charges.

I've heard good things about them. personally i'd go with the pinnacle series over the spyne if you don't mind spending that little bit extra since a good/functional walk/hike mode like the one on there is hard to find
