k why does every one think that having 1080s suck?

heres 7 resons:

1)they have changed absolutly no technology since they came out in 1998

2)It seems that everyone that has the old ones or once had them still rides them

3)For what you get they are overpriced

4)The only change in 7 years is the sidecut

5)They have a foam core

6)The core gets way to soft after x number of days skiing ( about two seasons)

7)evryone and their grandmother owns them

i dunno, my friend has some 1080s and they are holding up better than my other friends 4frnts... however i also know that Pete olenick broke 13 pairs of 1080s and Steele broke 2 pairs of STLs... so u make your decision, i think they are a good park ski, but there are durabler skis out there...

First of all, why is your name linskis_16 if you ride 1080s? Second of all i know 4 people who bought the green 1080s last year and every single one of those people had a piece of edge roughly 10 inches long pop out right under the binding. Im sorry but that hasnt happened to anyone i know who rides rossis, lines, PEs, Tweaks, armadas ,etc. So theres obviously a problem with these skis.

^^ i agree that they are overpriced for what you get... but the foam core doest really make that much of a difference i have seen all skis around here, salomons, core companies, other uncore companies... and all hold up about the same. we ski like 120+ days a year easy, and everything breaks... High Societies are by far the best though... 1000 rails and no edge damage yet... o and the thing about them not changing the desing in 7 years is dead wrong... just look at the original skis and nows, you can see the difference

ye the 1080s dont turn to noodles there edges rip out(they'll only turn to noodles maybe after 2 seasons wich is longer than you should expect any twin to last if you actually freeski)

thank you to all the people who dont say 1080s suck there fine like i would get pes or seth pistols but i dont have that much money and there cheaper than those

no one says you suck if you ski 1080's alot of talented kids ride 1080's/ the skis just arent that great. the main thing for me is I want my money to go towards a purly freestyle company like armada or 4frnt not to a company who makes other things.
