+K, Vote to help a mother win a mobility van for her sick child!

Thank You for Voting

Thank You for Voting in the National Mobility Awareness Month Local Hero Contest.

Ha, it got all big this time.

Voted again.

Currently waiting for an email back from Becky for deadline info and all that other stuff you guys want to know. She is taking a long time though so I'll try again.

Voted, diseases suck.

Still, I feel a bit bad for voting. Letting people with serious illnesses compete against each other for something every single one of them is in need for is pretty sick.

damn this sucks having competition when they all really deserve it but heres another entry.

this kids from keene, nh and was as passionate as a skier as you could find. shredded hard at granite gorge and other new hampshire mountains and had a bright future, but one day while on his tramp he broke his vertebrate( not sure about the exact medical terms but something in his neck/ back) and became paralyzed. this past winter he got back out on the hill on a sit ski and i had never seen someone so stoked.

nothing against the girl that the op posted for, but think about trying to help out a fellow skier!

Udpate: Contest ends on May 14!

And unless you look at all the kids, there's no real way to tell whether she's winning or not.
