K-fed on my ill new summer set up

Looked like a 180 off instead of 270..haha. Looks like a nice setup. How long is your rail and how tall is that drop?

We have two 8 foot long rails. one is mounted with two pvc in the middle about an inch and a half above two other pvc on the side, so its a shotgun rail unless you grip it. The second is just a box with 7 or 8 small pvcs next to eachother. They are each slightly higher at one end and set up as an a-frame. I don't know the height, and i'm too lazy to measure it.

BTW it was rainging, so we used the shitty quality waterproof video camera so sorry for the shitty quality

its 210 if you wanna put a protractor on my ski prints haha. i was just surprised i landed.

the drop in is about 15 feet long and has a vertical drop of maybe 8 feet, hard to tell cause its on a slope

Not hating at all. Just kidding around..better than i can do.

Setup looks sick, thats a really interesting idea on the first rail(raised pvcs in middle). Hows that work for you?

it actually works really well, we have no problem gripping and spinning, and i personally like rails better than boxes, but its a good mix of both. SO when we just wanna hit it straight it feels and slides like a rail, i love it

do you ever have a problem with dirt getting on the turf and slowing you down? i always lay my turf down on my hill, which is just dirt and the dirt somehow always manages to get all over the turf, making me go really slow

yeah man i have that same problem.. what i have found helpful is to put plywood down on top of the dirt then stapled my turf to the wood

our whole setup is at least a foot off the ground, except for the bottom which is only a couple of incheand if you get dirt, you just spray with nozzle, then scrape with the edge of the ski to remove excess

i really want to try this as soon as i get some plywood but i dont think i would want to attach the turf and the plywood, cause i have to roll up the turf and store it when im done with it. does it make a big difference? i feel like having the turf on plywood would let water soak in so much better, along with soap, making it slide more, but how would it stop dirt from getting in? we walk up my hill buckled into our bindings next to the turf, which throws some dirt on the turf as we're walking up, and gets mud on the turf that sticks to our skis, and then comes off on the turf. im not sure how plywood would keep dirt off, but i think i wanna give it a try to at least make the turf slipperier/ easier to clean with a broom

oh yeah and our turf is way beyond that haha, its like caked in mud, basically like skiing on dirt sometimes
