Juul is under fire from FDA

December 2017. I'm chilling in my room, buddy comes in with this sleek new device, a "Juul." I asked whats the hype, he explains the premises behind this futuristic flash drive infused nicotine device; it's sleek, it's sexy, and it delivers the necessary high, what could be wrong? Pods were a fucking high grade commodity back then, now kids use them like currency.

Now, the FDA is investigating them for marketing to minors and addicting Americas youth to nicotine. Will the Juul be a myth, or will it withstand the law? They have until November to prove their case.

Remember a time when high school bathrooms were not filled with puffing addicts? That's reality now. Thoughts?

Funny how juuling first blew up at prep schools in 2016 and then made its way down the pubic school system. Pretty much just replaced dip.
 
Someday soon you youngster will realize how dumb vaping is and will just start smoking. Best bet is to give it up all together.

We had a smoking tree at the edge of campus though.Nobody tried to smoke in the bathrooms. Freshman assembly the vice principle said I know a bunch of you smoke and if you don't want to get in trouble you need to smoke under that tree by the parking lot. The speech was actually a shock to me but right afterwords I learned from a bunch of my classmates that they had been addicted to cigs since elementary school.
 
I've seen motherfucking juul pods for sale on the dark net. Minors gotta get their pods somehow I suppose
 
I finally kicked my nicotine habit after being a can-a-day dipper for the past 6 years. Quitting fucking sucked but at least I wasn't deepthroating a flash drive.

Howd you finally quit. I was a smoker for a long time then vaped for a few months then started chewing and now I cant quit.

I just decided that I was going to stop buying dip after a certain day. I stocked up a few logs and sort of subconsciously started rationing the remaining dip. It was easier than quitting cold turkey because I still had nicotine and it was easier to wane my intake because it meant preserving my stash. By the time I ran out three-ish weeks later I'd already halved my overall consumption so it wasn't horrible to quit.

those dont work with juuls though, although they could probably make them since their based in california, would be a bitch to sell the normal pods outside of recreational state though.
 
why do people call it juuling?

is juul not just a brand of vape? like the gas station kind that comes with prefilled cartriges?

what is the difference? I've never come across one

Juul is just (from what I've seen on a US college campus) one of the most popular brands, their design is pretty sleek, discreet, and modern so it "appeals" to younger generations. I wouldn't say their marketing is targeting minors, but the nicotine vapes have infiltrated high schools all across the US and now every 16 year old "cool kid" is suckin' face with their nicotine stick at any opportunity they get.

juul uses basically what is a salt nic which is crazy high nicotine concentration compared to the traditional big ass atomizer with giant lithium batteries to power it, which only uses anywhere from 3 milligrams to 6 milligrams of nicotine. while juul, has 30-50.

also they are way way cheaper.

but basically a juul are like those blu cigarrettes that you can get at the gas station.

blu cigs have a lot less nicotine.
 
Regardless if they're better than cigs or not, I'd love to see that shit go, I saw a kid at the skatepark who probably got his first erection this summer ask for a juul rip off his friend and I just couldn't fathom what was happening. Sure some kids rebel and smoke weed to get high when they're 13 but holy fuck they're getting buzzed cause it's a trend not cause they're stressed out.

Smoke weed, drink, or just be sober.
 
There are too many kids on the planet as is. Its an easy way of thinning the herd by getting rid of the scumbags and tools that think this shit is cool.
 
Kinda funny how they are targeting Juul when more people have a Sourin, Breeze, etc. And this shit is the best way to quit smoking in my opinion, it helped the members in my family who smoked and they switched. Vaping isn’t exactly the best thing for your lungs, your lung are meant to breathe in air; but however your not inhaling tar which is what kills people who smoke. Vaping helped me kick my dip habit. Also if the FDA ends juul sales, people will buy juul compatatable pods. The FDA’s plan to stop teen vaping will ultimately fail in the end. If you vape just to be cool and your 12, your pretty fucking gay; I was guilty of doing that in middle school and it got me in trouble because I told everyone that I vaped. Smoking cigs, smoking weed, vaping, etc isn’t cool; idk about all these weed threads on NS but smoking weed is just as uncool as doing any of this.

There are a lot better options for quitting then jules or sourins. They have way more nicotine than cigs do. I mean it's better for your body (not much) but in the long run you're still hooked on nic.
 
I also would like to add that every 15 year old is shitting their pants now because of the potential shutdown.
