you know how they say if you die in ur dreams you die in real life? has anyone out there dies in a dream? i havent, and i think this whole thing is bullshit, so has anyone ever died in a dream?

I've gotten shot in a dream, and my brother got killed also, but I hear that when you die in a dream its supposed to make you live longer

i have been beat up, shot, even fucked up skiing in my dreams, but never have died. i guess people say that really does happen about when u die in ur dreams u die in real life, but i cant say i have

I've been shot in the head in my dreams and died, and i have fallen to my death.  I'm still alive right now.

ok so this is what i was told in my anatomy and physiology class.... your selfconsence doesnt let you die in dreams because a dream seams like reality to your brain, so therefor if you die in the dream your brain will stop telling your heart to beat and you to breath and so on... sounded like a good explanation to me
