I don't have much to do this week, there was some recent snowfall, I really should ski -- but it's just too freaking cold!

Yeah, I'm a wuss. But frostbite and landings on blue ice just aren't getting me worked up to go.

On the other hand, it's -44 with -94 wind chill at Mt. Washington. Maybe I should just be glad I'm not at Tuck and suck it up and go.

Yah when the high is less then -5 I call it quits.....when you ski almost every day there's not point in killing yourself, unless of course your on vacation or at some sick location.

it was -12plus windchill up on top of lab today, with the sun out, it wasnt actually too bad, just wear another base layer or two and buy some handwarmers, it was really nice cuz no one was there

Bristolrider i asume you ski at Bristol near Rochester cause i went there earlyer this winter. preatty cool place.

My mountain closed cause it was too cold -35 including windchill sum dude had to go to the hospital with frostbite

I just got back from a week in Tremblant. -37C and -50 something with wind chill. Most people that went out got frostbite at some point in time. Only takes about 10 minutes or so.

Not worth skiing IMO, but getting fucked up for a week straight and throwing down shots with Philou made it all worthwhile in the end. Good times, and I will never be cold again!

 
acouple weekends ago i went to my local mt and it was -45 with wind chill. i took one run and said 'fuck this shit' and left
