yeah, the west is sweet. but squaw is fucking lame. too much tude, too many posers and mountain run at 4 o'clock is probably the worst experience you can have skiing.

hey dick i ski at whiteface in new york and im still sking this weekend. and ice? yea we know it but we can ski it. i hate ur kind who come east and complain about pack pow "oh man i cant set an edge on this ice" when its not ice asshole. i ski the east then i rip it up in the pow when i go out west where as tools like u need 6 feet of fresh to beable to make turns. IF U CAN SKI THE EAST, YOU CAN SKI ANYWHERE FUCKER!

parkskier, i slightly agree with you, but your wrong about it having to be pow just so we can ski, ubt i have to admit i really do feel like a jackass riping a big line in the gadchutes then kinda looking like a retard on the groomer below it cuz its icy, mad respect for east coast rippers, but i still think we have more fun on the west.

ive got another version of the pole dangle, its pretty funny too, gets cold when i do it on the lift tho.

You know what's funny about the west? My friend went to Colorado after graduation and rode Crested Butte for 2 years, and I stayed in the upper Michigan. When he left I was a little better....he came back this week and now he can't even begin to hang with me. So fuck all you kids that think you have an advantage out there cause you DON'T. 80 ft tables are the same up here as they are out there. I ski from November - May, and I wouldn't want it longer because I need plenty of time for BMX riding.

Michiganripper, you always whine and bitch about the midwest and how you are so good and how big your tables are is in Michigan. Your buddy that came back from Crestd Butte probably isn't a park rat b/c there is sick terrain to ski there. You are not as sick as you think because you hit larger tables all day. That is one very small aspect of skiing and i guarentee he would work you on an actual MOUNTAIN, not a hill with a rope tow. You have the biggest inferiority complex of anyone on this site. DEAL WITH IT. Maybe one day you can move out West with the big boys and see what it is like. I promise you there is more to skiing than 80 foot tables.

Whining and bitching about the midwest? I love my hill, it's unbelievable what they are doing for the size and the budget they have. HAHA, and if you know me so good maybe you could actually come close to getting my username right, since you even fucking quoted it. I'm just sick of little kids from recognized ski areas trying to belittle east and midwest skiers just because they are more privleged. Sorry fuckshow, my mommy and daddy aren't rich so I'm in college (paid for by my student loans) working my ASS off trying to get a degree so I can hopefully move closer to a prime ski place and actually have health insurance. SO don't act like you fucking know or own, cause neither is more far from the truth.

I forgot....Actual moutain terrain? RIGHT FUCKING HERE. www.mtbohemia.com. I had a season pass the first year it was open, and I was one of 8 people to ride it the first day it was officially open, accessed by a 'cat, waist deep pow.

Why do people have to make fun of the east coast? We all know there's big mountains in the West, and that our mountains aren't as good.

you guys say that, but you dont know that. i spent 12 years of my life living in fucking NEW JERSEY, so all my big ski trips were up to vermont and shit, believe me i know what ice is, learning to ski on the east coast makes you a better skier, no doubt, you guys have nothing else to do but ski park no doubt, all im saying is that it is more fun liviing out here around these mountains, im not trying to talk shit, im just trying to show people that the west coast isnt just hype, it really is that sick out here.

The east is just jellous that we have better conditions, if i lived in the east i wouldnt even bother skiing it sound way to shitty all the time pure ice flat crowded hill. The west breeds the best all around skiers in the world. Screw the ICE Coast

 
I hate the east. But the East has just as many good skiers as the west, look at fucking Quebec, so many good park skiers, Bode Miller came from New Hampshire, Mike Nick is from Albany New York(NY hell ya) Dave Crichton, the 3 Phils, Charles Gagnier, Tanner Rainville, Liam Downey, Simon Dumont, shit loads of good skiers from the east.
