I LOVE it when people say shit like 'Just dont worry and ski for yourself' Jesus...Fucking...Christ.. Think for yourself and stop spouting shit other people say. This has nothing to do with skiing, or style or anything, just all you people on this site posting that response, it is so annoying. Plus you know what? IF ALL THOSE GANSTA SKIERS DIDN'T CARE WHAT PEOPLE THOUGHT OF THEM...DO YOU REALLY THINK THEY WOULD WEAR FUCKING RAGS HANGING OFF THEIR BODIES AND CHAINS AND ALL THAT OTHER SHIT THAT BOGS THEM DOWN? NO! they think it makes them look 'cool' and that is why they wear it dumbasses. Is that not completely obvious? they aren't some godlike existential superiors who realize no one cares about how they look, they are wearing that stuff for a reason and it sure as hell isnt comfort. whatever, the sheer simple-mindedness of some people on this site is bizarre. Just because skiing is a sport and has buzzwords like 'style' and 'ski to have fun' does not mean you should assume anyone who critiques someone is hating on them unjustly. You know what? i have a right to be upset when someone at my mt is wearing all new gear with new oakley jacket and new 4fronts. I have been with this movement from the beginning and i cant even fucking afford to replace my '99 yellow 1080s. Then this 16yr old comes out to my mt with all new shit and starts talking shit to me and making us jibbers look bad by badmouthing my snowboard friends and other beginning skiers. And all this when many times these kids cant even land a decent invert or smooth spin. I have a right to call these kids 'Wigger bitches' who are only following a trend and, in my humble insignificant opinion, shouldnt be here. Our sport, I think, would be better off without some of these kids.

 
You may have the problem if you are worried about it enough to post this. It is all about the skiing, so let your skiing do the talking. If you have been in it since the beginning, then you should know that. Dont come rant on here, because everyone here is a brick wall. Your post is long, so you are going to scare people away because they are affraid to read.

What is up with the people bashing the rag and the baggy stuff or whatever they bahs on. I think there is other things in life other than skiing. what I mean is people are bringing their style into their skiing. For example, I was sagging my pants way before I ever thought about skiing. But now that I ski it was just a natural thing to have baggy pants and to bring my style into skiing. I'm not about to change my fuckin style just to ski and to fit in! Plus I hate stretchy pants. But anyway I guest my point is everybody got their own unique style (some dont) which they bring inot their skiing. And if you dont like it than that's just your problem. Just let it be like that.

I couldn't disagree with you more. You talk about respect, but I get the vibe that you show no respect yourself, you are too worried about what everybody else is doing 'wrong'.

Who cares if someone is decked out as a 'wigger'? Honestly, how does it affect you? If don't like what someone is wearing or how they are acting just ignore them. How should skiers dress? Is there some kind of standard that I'm not aware? You say people who dress like 'wiggers' and claim they ski for themselves, are contradicting themselves, but how? So what if they wear puffy, baggy clothes to be seen? Isn't that their own reason for wearing what they wear?

Stop worrying about what everybody else is doing and concentrate on who you are and what you should be doing. Show respect, Earn respect.

I don't like people that ski just to get sponsored. I mean, I'm sure being sponsored is great and all, but I'd much rather ski for fun. I mean, if you're not having fun while skiing....what fun are you gonna have when/if you are sponsored? Just for fun and let everything else have it's place.
