Just sent this to Fuel.

i have seen 1242 and propaganda on fuel back in the day and they have untracked i think if more skiers and skiing companies aproched them with more shows skier oriented they may put them on. Its not just up to fuel

yaa i used to see more skiing on fuel but it wasnt skiing like it is today. even in the past 2 years i havent seen a single skiier on fuel.

My arguement would be something to the affect of: Why not take away one of your many skateboarding shows, many of which aren't that great, and replace it with a legit skiing show.

I mean really, they do show some good skateboarding but they also show some crap, and could make a quality improvement by adding some skiing.

I'm dropping this request solely for your benefit. I watch your show all of the time and i think it is one of the sickest shows on TV, but it just seems a bit lacking in variety. I love boardsports and i think there all sick but i think an increase in variety of the sports aired on your show would attract more viewers and most likely increase the popularity of your channel. I think that if you added more skiing to the channel you would recieve many more frequent viewers. Skiers and boarders had a long lasting "war" going for a long time but now it seems we all realized that each sport is sick in its own way. So if the reason for not airing skiing is because its "not cool", or you dont want to lose your rep. for airing solely board and more "core" sports, then you mustnt worry because im sure most boarders out there would think the stuff being pulled on skis today is sick, kind of like how us skiers think the same upon snowboarders.

You know what I think the problem is? A lack of money in the skiing industry. This thread motivated me to check out Fuel and see what it is all about. The major thing I noticed is that a lot of the shows seem to be completely funded by a single sponsor. Example: they had some show that I think was sponsored by Globe and they showed only Globe riders.

If a company like Armada or Oakley preferably K2 invested the time and money to make a "day in the life" of the K2 team i'm sure a network like Fuel would air it.

Yeah, your right now that i think about it. That show skate maps, sponsored by Zoo York. But it would be awesome if they covered ski comps in the daily update or something like that. But yea if k2 sponsored a show where cameras follow the team throughout the winter that would be sick. Or even just one rider like the sorsa project.

ya i said stuff like that in my email hopefully enough people will write in and they get more involved in the ski industy

like I have said in the past FUCK FUEL TV!

but props for writing to them!

I tried hitting them up about the lack of skiing to them in person. they dudes that run the shit there a clueless.

why don't we just make a thread saying why we think they should ad freeskiing and then email them the link so it makes it easier

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for

your email!

While we support

and love all Snow sports, Freestyle Skiing is not one of our six core sports

that we currently focus on. We will keep your ideas and suggestions in mind for

the future!

Thank you for

your interest in FUEL TV!

Thats what I got back today. I'm guessing their six core sports are FMX, BMX, Skateboarding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, surfing. Seems like a legit answer to me, I guess they just have a distinct idea of what they want to showcase right now. Keep hittin them up though, if they get enough from us they will likely at least mention us in some meeting or something if they ever rework things.

thats not a legit answer at all dude. you practically wrote them an essay and they gave you a sentence saying yeah uh we love snow and shit but skiing isnt gnar enough to be on fuel basically. keep sending emails!

2nd email.

I love and watch Fuel whenever i get the chance and I really enjoy all of the sports your channel makes available to watch. I do however think that if you introduce freestyle skiing to channel, it will not only benefit me by watching it but you as a company also. I am part of Newschoolers.com which is an over 100,000 person organization on the web all about freestyle skiing. I am sure everyone on there would like to see more skiing on Fuel TV. There is actually a whole thread talking all about it on the forums section. Anyways I do think that it would be worth it for your company to look into freestyle skiing.

Thank you for your time.
