A bunch of you kids are always hatin and shit with all the "dubs are so played" and "spinning too much is gay."

what i dont understand is how the same people hating on spinning and techy doubles are hating on dumont.

dumont is pretty much the antithesis of the techy double guy, hes really not too innovated but hes hella style-ie with his macho cork 3's and such. I once saw someone post something like "dumonts so gay hes the only pro cant dub cork."

+ Karma to you sir. I agree to an extent. I guess what people want from him is a new double that hasn't been done for 40+ years. But, in order for skiing to be broad we need people in all areas. We need people that are doing doubles, we need people that are doing singles, we need people to ski back country, we need people to ski park, we need people to innovate and we need people to stand back. But everyone nowadays just want to convert skiing into 2 categories, back country and park. So they feel you should be the best at either one of those. As I read this over I realize that is indeed not my point really at all but I have written too much to go back now so Im not going to delete it.
 
i think the main reason people hate on dumont is because he is so popular. like tween girls watching the x games go ape shit over his double front flip but were not stoked on pk's double because "who the fucks pk?"
 
so true man, +k for speaking out. He does have soo much style, but people say people such as Henrik and Wallisch are steezy as fuck, then go hating on dubs, totally contradicting themselves. Guess this is just the nature of preseason NS
 
Corked 3's are the coolest trick on skis..... dumont is the master...... huge floaty f****ers.... i remain on the fence and undecided.... just hope he has as much fun skiing as i do...

I agree, everyone needs to make up their damn minds. I really don't care either way...skiing is skiing, as long as the trick is done clean it's sick, whether it's a 180 or a dub cork 12, it doesn't matter, as long as it's clean it's probably gonna look sick. Perfect example of this, Hot Lunch last year was such a sick movie, but I don't think there was anything past a 5 in the entire movie, but everything they did was smooth and clean, however watching the JOSS edits with all the dubs was so sick.
 
I AM SORRY but tom and henrick can not do doubles. they are hucked up and look un-steezy in air but then afterbang the shit out of them after they land and looks dumb as shit

but they are really good. no hate to tom and henrick
 
Simon does like two tricks that i think are "stylish" everything else i do not like.
 
And wow, have you seen the windells video? and wait, in so far so hood, tom AND henrik both do doubles, tom does like 3-4 on the windells jump.
