Trainspotting is much better in my opinion. It has more of a story arc and plot instead of a depressing flush into hell that Requiem is.

Its All Gone Pete Tong is another great movie about drugs and redemption.

Why does everything have to have a happy ending, life does not usually have a happy ending or often any redemptive features.

It's beautifully shot, soundtrack is awesome, characters are interesting.

Darren Aronofsky is tremendous. You should check out Pi and Black Swan.

Movie kinda blows though. The od scene is pretty good but plit is pretty much like "Omg look drugs cool drugs bad wow".
