Well I took the plunge and order some I am sure they will be sweet.

And thanks to guys at boone's they were very helpful and awesome, real legit in my book.

175cm, 82waist, magic sticks!!

I figured they would be lighter and better on groomers like you said.

Plus I live on east coast so I dont get much POW at all.

yeh. they would be a sick east coast ski for sure. they look so solid too.

I cant wait to get on a pair this winter.

well im just assuming that every thread made about boone is made by somebody affiliated with the company

Whats up with this saturated indie ski market lately? Anyways too bad Boone doesn't make REAL pow skis... I'm talking about 100+ waist and rockered, then i would think about buying from them... Until then I'll keep my mind on other companies.

if boone and their associates would stop saturating gear talk and telling everyone and their mom to try their skis I might take them seriously. I wonder which factory they are made in anyway.

As far as I know, they are made in the batcave...

and this thread wasnt even started by anyone from boone. Just somebody who was stoked about his most recent purchase. Some of us were just adding to his stoke, that is all, homie.

Ya man I am just stoked I bougt a pair and hope they are sweet. I have no affiliation with Boone I just bought a pair,so please stop these assumptions, and make sure you know what your saying before you post.

Thanks

Ya I though they were pretty legit all the guys at boone answered my questions and had no problem helping me pick at ski. Pretty good start in my book.

We post because no one else knows what these skis are like. We're just trying to help people out as well as the company but thanks for the stoke everyone

so far the marketing for this company hasnt been my taste, what makes a ski is bombproof construction construction and a reputation for quality, so maybe after this season and a few reviews we can see if these skis live up to their claims... and if they do, then i would consider

imho, just incase youre looking for input, head is a great example for companies to follow, they have very few gimmicks they just produce an outstanding product and let that back their sales, even the j.o.'s didnt let the graphics rule the ski, i found they put alot more empasis on construction and lighweight materials than what the ski looked like

anyways, thats just my 2 cents

no one is gonna trust the company if the reps are the only ones recommending the skis!
you need to wait it out and let people figure out if your skis are good or not!
if people arent pleased then change 'em around and make ppl happy.
also, try something new that hasnt been done to catch peoples eye... then maybe there will be more to talk about...

just my opinions
good luck

And how in the world do you expect reviews to come out about them if we dont market the skis, and get the word out about them? We arent going to wait a whole other year to sell our skis, man, because we are already looking toward next year, and want to keep putting out super sick product.

I'm also the only rep for Boone Skis. The ONLY one. Rubio, Meltonsnow, Sugar, and Zachel are the riders on here. They arent paid enough to bullshit about either... If they didnt like them, A: they wouldnt be riding for us, and B: they would not be posting in here talking about how stoked they are on the product.

Anyways, i'm done playing defense. If you have a question about these skis, ask one of the riders, or ask myself, or any of the other kids who've bought skis from us so far. We arent saying we are the best on the market, and we arent saying other skis suck, etc etc.... we are just saying that we think Boone skis are DOPE so check em out yo!

Ya, i definitely agree with you on that, but it just seems like their is a lot of hype thats all...
your completely right and i was unaware of what it takes to start a fresh company that i'm sure is dope
peace!
good luck!

Yeah.. there's good hype and bad hype, as with anything new..

But we would like to keep it positive here, so if you have any questions on the skis, just let me, or one of the riders know.

besides.. we dont get paid enough to lie lol.

are you guys gona have some demo days, that would get people stoked on your skis if they are as good as you say they are. btw are they made in china? or are they made in Europe in a rossi or elan factory?

We are definitely going to have demo days this winter.

and no they are not made in china. i know that much FOR A FACT.

lmao.

whatever dude..

names dont really matter in the longrun. I wouldnt buy a "scion" over a "ford" just because the name sounded cooler.

Tannerd writes the most ridiculous shit.. I guess "Elan" and "Rossignol" and "Salomon" are cool? I bet you will say only "moment" is a good name right?

I'm not affiliated with this company either and i don't know much about them and for that matter I'm pretty new to newschoolers. I just met some of their guys up at Hood and they let me try out the skis and I thought they were a blast and now I want a pair. that being said,

It seems like every new company gets hated on unless its started by some big name pro skier - who is probably more interested in his skiing that putting out a dope product.

I guess I'm not cool enough to understand? Can someone explain this to me? I think its cool as a skier to see new stuff coming out and I think its tight to have more choices to make on my skis.

they're legit. self-owned and I'm pretty sure they build the skis, too. super high quality, you'll love them if you buy them.

boone is a sexy name haha

boone on the show LOST who got chopped in half by the airplane door

was voted one of the sexiest men on earth n/h
