Just moved to Whistler!

Ok ..... sooo

I just moved to whistler today from Ottawa. There is soo much to say but not enough time to write it all.

Most spectacular place i have ever been. I can't beleive this is my new home. My plan is to make this place my perminant home.

I'm looking for a job. What exactly? umm anything for staters. Hopefully something with the hill but i won't need a job with the hill untill winter starts.

If anybody has any ideas or suggestions for a whistler noob.. I'd appreciate it.

or.... if you just moved to whistler... make it known here.

thanks tosh... I'm probally going to be living here for a long long time, lol. I'd like permament housing but for now ill see what i can do.

Just waking up this morning and going down to the beach was incredible. such a nice day today

congrats man I moved here 3 and a half months ago and I've never been happier. Definitely take Tosh's advice and pick yourself up a copy of the pique, they're all over town and have pretty extensive job listings. If need be as a last resort there is also an employment centre where I think you can make an appointment and they will try and hook you up with a job based on whatever skills you may have, there should be info about that in the pique as well.

me, *jay*, Jade_k, and few other fellow skiers are living up at whistlaa too. We're all staying at Creekside come september. Should be a good time!

 
well i live in creekside right now... its fucking amazing place i'm staying at it. I ove look alpha lake. i can't beleive i made it here in one peice to this mecca of niceness, lol....

NS parties its been done before. Back in Ottawa we had NS parties bbq's. I had an ottawa cult which is still booming that i run. We have our own clothing line. lol. seriously. CCR capital city ridaz.. go check it out. But you gotta live in ottawa so don't plan on asking me in. lol.

WE also used to gather at te hockey rinks and set up jibs..... we were famous...

i work in the longhorn kitchen, and i know that we are hiring. for starters, you would probably wash dishes but you get a chance to move up pretty quick. and if you have experience, we are definatly looking right now. its a super fun place to work, pretty chill and we get free food!

do it up man we need some more english speaking peeps in the kitchen, we've got enough slovakians back there for a hockey team (Sarah you know what I'm talking about ;). Jk they're all good guys (or at least they seem to be from what little conversation I've been able to have) but it wouldn't hurt to have another english speaking dude back there, an english speaking skier no less.
