Just me??

Is it just me or do you all have a 'natural' shoulder to look over while skiing switch. It makes it really weird for me because I'm super comfortable riding switch looking over my left shoulder, but I can't do it worth a damn looking over my right. Its hella weird when I do rails too cuz my natural is right foot forward, so switch unnatural is easier for me than switch natural because of the shoulder thing.

wow, I'm the exact opposite. I can look over my right shoulder and see everything....left shoulder, nada. and I'm right handed too. and I spin natural when skiing regular. it's quite weird.

yeah i cant turn all the way to my left, but i can to my right. i spin left so its real hard for me spinning switch, its pissin me off

Whoa, that's weird. I thought everybody could look over either shoulder fine. For me I look which ever way I'm going to carve the most, If I'm looking over my left shoulder I can only carve left and vice versa.

^ yeah i'm the same way. mostly i look over left though

ok there is an answer to this problem. In the past the same thing happened to me. Now all you need to do is ski around switch a bunch on groomers. If you are looking with only your neck thats bad. Look with your upper body, turn with your waist and bend your knee's it also helps to pivot your skis. If you are looking over your left shoulder put your left ski back further than the right ski and vice versa. Another thing that helps me when i'm carving is if you are carving in the skiers left direction look over your left shoulder and then when you start carving to the right you can look over your right shoulder. But bassicaly just get comfortable switch and dont look with your neck but turn at your waist also it helps tons
