So its raining at Squaw and the shop was ver slow.. we decided to try baking cookies with the Custom Shell oven for Salomon boots and it friggin worked.

Cooked them for 40 mins in the oven, then heat gunned them to 375F. came out tasty and not smelling like feet!

Will your next customer's boots smell like cookies?

Can vouch Saw Pictures on Facebook earlier today. lol such a good idea.

I hope the next pair of boots that go in there smell like cookies.

Who only makes one cookie?

I'm not impressed it wasn't a whole batch but I'm impressed it was with a ski boot oven. 4/10

Sean baked more than one I think, it was an epic snap series.

We do this at my shop, and sometimes toast bagels in our spare oven.

This is why we have a toaster oven in the boot room

what happened to just getting wasted on the clock when things are slow?

I was thinking more of an actual boot liner oven...still rad though.

That's exactly what I used, actually... only it was the Salomon one. Here's me cooking 3 of them. They turned out perfect, and only had a hint of feet to them.

a friend of mine once made a grilled cheese with the swix irons.

I haven't tried it but I have to imagine that is bad for the iron, getting it dirty and crap idk. Cookies in a boot oven isn't going to hurt anything.
