it seems like snowboards have it way better just cruisin around and just jibbing, like tree taps and stuff, log rides and shit. i am always looking for new fun ways to just mess around so if anyone has any fun butters or anything to try post em or post any cool videos that are jjust all about fun.
 
Skiing is what you make it, and you and do anything that a snowboard can do on skis, you just have to try different things until it works.
 
it took me awhile to realize this, but since my mtn is steep, there are very few jibs on the mtn, which suck. there are a few natural hits, but other than that, theres very little.
 
haha, i like skiing around doin 7's off the smallest bumb possible... and 3's off the ground... and tip roll 3's and 5's right off the lift. then just buttering around and manualing and stuff.. and just ollie 180s and mach switch... and nollies. Be creative, learn to use your skis, and the flex of them.
 
1/2 of that feeling is the edits you watch, and how well they're cut and shot.

I'll have to say at least 2 or 3 of my top 5 skis days of my life have been jibbing around and freeriding with a group of highly skilled, fun skiers.
 
well here is what i do

180s

360s

switch riding

switch manuals

trying to 360 butter(hard on pe's)

sword fights those are fun

and just like tail taps on hills and try to find natural features on the snow

at spirit mount in mn we found the funniest c box that was made out of snow not meant to be but doing like 270 on double switch up 270 out was fun and just all taht stuff

thats cuz they just float smoothly over the snow without the worry of two sticks, so its much easier
 
you can spin really fast cant you....i remember seein u do a 630 off that rail down at the bottom at pfc
 
Two Sticks= more grabs better grabs more challenging stuff better ways to look steeze i say there is notthin better on a board than skis other than they can float better on pow
 
thats why we need softer skis, like seriously, skis are wayyyyy too stiff to have fun on, i have arv's and even though they are probably some of the softest, they still feel way too stiff to have alot of fun on.

Put one of your skis behind you and put the back tim on your shoulder. Then bite the tip and hold it in your mouth and try to ski like that.

You can alos go switch and look between your legs.
 
uh...how about skiing. i thought skiing was all about cruising around and finding new stuff and just having fun
 
i love just popping over noles and it just feels like your floating. and doing 180's and shit over them.
