Yo this is my first year skiing park, got the blends for it and cant do shit lol. All i can do is 180, these are my first pair of skis and they are taller than me(178 and im 173) i dont know if this is why i find them heavy and cant spin more than 180s. Maybe im just weak but i cant ollie high enough and they dont feel confortable at all. I see a whole bunch of edits and people throw 360s, ollies, butters as nothing. I was told that blends were one of the softest skis out in the market. Is it the skis? Am i just a tiny btch??

Man the one thing that really helped me get past the 180 stage was just skiing pipe for a bit, it’s really good for getting better rotations and stuff. My first pair was some 10-15 pound all mountain atomics that felt like an elephant was on your foot

Sorry dude but it’s not the skis’ fault. You have to work for your tricks. You’re supposed to figure it out and experiment.

Lol hit a 90 foot jump and just spin as hard as you can, guarantee you will get past 180

You won't be able to ski for a while but at least you can say you did it..or tried it

How long have you been skiing?

Learn to jump, learn to shifty/backscratcher, then learn to grab, then start spinning, then spin & grab. For butters, learn to press your skis while not moving, then do it moving and gradually add more speed & rotation.

Persistence is key, and the more fit you are the easier it is.

Is there something i can do to practice?? I mean off-season besides working out.

one of my skiing buds had the blends and he hated them so i let him try my honey badgers and he said he loved them and next time i skied with him he had a pair I've bought 2 pairs of honey badgers and i love them id suggest you get a pair

Diving board, and trampoline. Get as much air awareness as you can

Make a summer setup. I built mine before I even knew how to slide rails and I made my way to k-feds

It's not the ski....you just don't have the skill yet. Ski's won't make you better if you don't know how to do anything.

I’d love to. If i use my skis on grass are they going to f* up? I really want to practise on summer but idk if jumping and landing on GRASS will have a negative impact on my skis.

You need astroturf or snowflex/dendex to ski on for a summer setup, skis don't really slide that well on grass.
