They make such a big difference. If there is one investment you can make into your skiing, it's a pair of good fitting boots and custom insoles.Anyone else care to share?
 
i have them in both pairs of my boots, three pairs for me shoes, and a pair in my road bike shoes and mountain bike shoes.

they make the the difference in the world, in everything.
 
Search around. And do not be intimidated by the price. They are an investment. And the dude that made them said they last 5+ years.
 
I've sold boots to patrollers who have had the same pair for 7 years and still in good shape. That's 200 day seasons, so yours should last a lifetime. Definitely an investment.
 
Really? because i had surefoot footbeds for two years and had them worked on like three different times cause they were so fucked up, last year it started to seriously fuck my foot up, a bone was stating to get misaligned or something, it was horrible. I just got new ones and the guy that did them was looking at my old surefoot ones and he was completely blown away, I don't think he had seen any footbeds that bad in the forty years or so that he had been bootfitting.
 
sounds like whoever molded them for you either really fuk'd them up or had no clue what they were doing.
 
Ya the guy who did mold them fucked them up, but someone different worked on them each time and they made them better but not much, and no one ever started to suggest that they were screwed and that they should make me new ones. I'm not saying nobody at surefoot knows what they are doing, but at squaw they definitely have some incompetent bastards their.
 
ive got superfeet corked customs, work fine for me.

Sucks to hear about the surefoots fucking up I heard those ones are amazing.....how much are they btw?
 
What are the best ones to get? I know there will be different opinions on this question but give some good brands to check out and affordable ones too. I want to get some but I dont really want to spend over $100
 
i would never wear boots without footbeds ever again

I have the ones by sidas/conform'able and i'm pretty happy with them.

These things are the shit. They're only about $40 but worth their weight in gold. Trim to fit to your boot (just use the boot's footbed as a guide) and then heat mold them with your oven. Awesome.
