Nothing wrong with that but if you wanted to go to prom with him you had it in the bag all you had to do was say yes.

Guy's generally don't like non yes or no answers. I don't like making generalizations though and I don't know this guy.

One thing to look at would be how did the text conversation go after your maybe answer? Try to look at it from his point of view. Why would he be rude to you after?

One possibility is he felt like you were playing games with your maybe answer. There are so many possibilities though that ... .. there's a lot okay.

When a guy messes with your feelings like that, its best just to forget about him and never talk to him again even though that is hard.

I hated my prom. No date, no fun, no dancing and 3 people told me they thought I had died skiing. 3.

I was mostly homeschooling by that point in senior year but really, had a terrible time.

Ditched prom to go party at my exes house, even got shot down by him.

Went home before midnight. Skied the next day and all was forgotten.
