Just got my new PEs

i just got next years public enemies from warrenty on my old ones and they seem really different. the tip is really wide and they feel way lighter, has anyone skied them? it seems like they could be an awesome ski

Didn't you get last year's for warranty too Jesse? That's sick dude. I know where there's a lot of snow too, so we can still do urbs if you're down, we just need to toss together a drop in.

i've had a pair for the past few months...sick sick ski. they are great. definitely the best of the pe's thus far.

I have the 179 and they are definately stiffer and lighter. I never skiied the 04/05 PEs but i didnt really like them at all. The first day I skiied my 05/06 PEs I hated them but then i realised that they just had edges and i wasnt used to that so i took them in the pipe and jump with them now and they are the most amazing ski. I wont let them touch a rail. They officially are in the top 5 sickest graphic for 06. I heart K2

Yes it actually is related to a band. I non progressive rap group from the 80s known as Public Enemy known for their hatrad towards authority figures. Rhyming about drugs, crime, murder, you no the works. Thats what the cop stands for i believe

they k2 logo is just like the public enemy one. they named it becuase of that, but the ski might relate to the group, but chances are fairly slim. ask schmies

It's for the people that had the cops chasing them and harrassing them just cause of their race or where they live, something they can relate to. How do you actually manage to get a ski from warranty without really using the warranty, I heard some people do that and get a pair every year? Do you damage it yourself and send it back? Has anyone tried that with armada skis?

I did it 2 years with scratches, but i had stress cracks in the tips and tails and the rubber top was annihilated.

dumb question but i dont know the answer.... how does one get their skis warrentied if i can id love a free pair of teneightys and mine deff have fallen to peices... contact info or anything?

i love my 04/05's. I got em coming from the original armadas, which blew major ass.

I ski at the crappiest hill ever...

 
call k2 customer service...but dont expect them to give you free skis if you have beaten them to crap..they will replace em quickly, but only if its a defect (delams, de-cambering etc...) not being a good skier and crossing your tips does not get you a free pair...

 
i ripped out both bindings and thats why they got warrentied. just bring skis back to the shop and they ship them to the company.

There is no visual representation of Public Enemy the rap group on the new PEs, just straight crime and violent shenanigans. I was going for more of a feel of old Russian propaganda posters.

 
The skis are sick, Ive been on them since late january. i have 20 days on them and they ski great, they are awesome on rails but ok in the pipe.
