Get that 1080p video rolling on vimeo and ill check it out again, looks good tho

Either every single person I've seen using one is amazing with the gh3, or it's just ridiculously sharp by itself, I presume a bit of both, either way nice job, but some of those shots seemed really noisy when the light didn't look that bad(0:36 onwards pretty much)

P.S tell steve aoki I said hi

What you're noticing is the higher resolution. gh3s are 900-1000 lines while a canon dslr is 700-800 lines.

yeah but would 200 lines really make that big a difference that I'm noticing it? I'm not exactly one with a keen eye either.

The gh3 is quite a sharp guy... but i think the crown here goes to the Voigtlander lens so nice and sharp. But as for the noise, i put a heavy 35mm film grain. The non film grain shots did not show up as noisy, actualy really clean at iso 1600. I was suprized. But i like my film grain. It adds texture in my opinion. Other may disagree!

Yes. gh3s show a true 1080p resolution while a canon dslr doesnt. at full screen, there is a difference especially when the 1080p version.

People need to stop thinking of resolution in terms of lines. Perceived resolution between camera bodies is the produce of scaling algorithms, of which one component is the amount of lines extracted from the sensor. Boiling it down to a simple X number lines vs Y number of lines takes away the artistic value of judging resolution by reducing it to a mere numbers game, spawning stupid statements such as "200 lines isn't that much more."

Use your eyes; ignore the numbers. The difference is huge. If you noticed it, especially on web-compressed video, then you've answered your own question.
