Just got my colorado pass!

was colorado pass more or less expensive than epic pass because epic pass is an incredible offer and i think that they cost the same. i'm not sure though
 
colorado pass is $439 and the epic pass is $579

i just got my colorado and eldora passes today as well. can't wait for opening day

I just got my epic pass today for free cause I work at breck.
 
ohh and they told me something when i got it. They said new this year the pass lets out a radio frequency thing when scanned so you dont have to take it out of your jacket or pocket. Doesnt this make sharing a pass 100x easier?

Yeah.. Alta has that shit. There's a gate thing, like a turn style or whatever at a subway station sorta. And you just go through, but the lifties/pass checkers have the handheld monitor so they see your info.

 
Its the way to go. it was only like $270 for me which is pretty good, do you know when you can go and get your picture taken for the pass by chance?
 
I am not too sure when they open the pass office for that. I would bet soon. All the pass people are out doing the t-rex and sniagrad things
 
i went to sniagrab the other day (got some new pants..sweet), but most of the stuff they had "on sale" weren't very good deals. i can still find better deals on skis on www.untracked.com

One of the guys there tried to sell me a pair of k2 seth's, demo with a huge core shot on one of the skis for $450. You can get that ski brand new without the shitty demo bindings for the same price at Dicks Sporting Goods. Some of the deals on clothes are pretty good though.
 
yeah they had a pair of demoed volkl pearls wiht bindings for over $500 or something, and they were definitely "well used"
 
Sniagrab sucks ass, I have never found anything there. If that radio signal from the pass is for real that would be really sick.
 
ski rex had some decent deals on skis, though nothing for goggles or helmets (neither did). sniagrab gets worse every year, the only deal i saw was punx for 300.
