i just got some armada halos with the marker squire bindings and was wondering where would be the best mounting point it says -2.5 is the reccomended but i just need a second opinion

well those are skis made for park and im assuming youd be doing a lot of park so definately dead center

dont take the bindings back theyll be fine markers products always hold up well p.s tell me how you like the squires

mount them at recomended no matter what other wise youll be riding to close to the tip rocker the kid above me is a retard

Really? these are hella beefy bindings and I have some of the crappier markers on my hellbents which i rode for 60 days last season and they held up without any problems whatsoever so im not sure thats enirely correct

I'm sorry sir but what you posted is just stupid. The sidecut of the ski works best when the ski is mounted at recommended. In my opinion you should only mount center when the recommended is way far back, which -2.5 certainly isnt.

well you already mounted them but.. I think it's really just personal preference, I'm mounting mine center. Yes people will say that's stupid, doesn't use the ski to it's full potential, etc. but you're the one skiing it so do what you like. I've mounted skis at +2, +3 and loved it so who's to tell you not too..

sorry for slight threadjack but you have all ready mounted yours

I CANT DECIDE WHERE TO MOUNT MINE

I ski ~90% park (east coast) but it would kill me if they were mounted bad for the few pow days that come time to time

:(

recommended? close to center? or dead center?

-2.5

It will ski better outside the park, and we're only talking about an inch difference here, it won't make a hugely noticeable difference in the park.
