Now to make this easier, yes this is an alias, and no i dont snowboard.

I just got Burtons 09 catalog in the mail and I have to say, most of their jackets and pants look pretty damn legit. I actually plan on buying some shit it looks so nice. Its a shame though, i would much rather buy from a ski company then Burton. I know theres some super anti Burton people on here but I have to say, lighten up people. They make a good product, and respect them for that. And for any other outerwear companys, I would really like to see some shit like theirs. dont be afriad of prints and designs. Its cool
 
Yeah, I walked into zumiez and started talking to an employee and he gave me a catalog, shit looks pretty sick.
 
have you read any of the catalogue. "Starting kids on skis is child abuse", and "... two plankers wishing they were shredders". stupid burton/shawn white
 
I don't have anything against snowboarding companies. But I do have something against Burton. They have no respect for skiers so they should get no respect from skiers. They are really the only company that makes fools of themselves by bashing skiers. Who cares how you get down the mountain as long as you are having fun.

I like snowboarding (I'd just rather ski) but I hate Burton. Everyone I know that buys it is a poser who thinks that Burton is the shit but everyone I know that is decent at snowboarding says burton is shit. Most people I've met that own Burton (and i mean outwear, board, boots, the whole get up) thinks they are the shit because they ride Burton and they are really cocky even though they have no skills and look like every other Burton wearing, snowboard wannabe.

I laugh at skiers that wear Burton. I mean Burton does nothing for our sport, in fact, they only hurt it. They have competitions and ads that only make skiing look bad. Why buy Burton when you could buy from a skiing company that supports skiing or at the very least a snowboard company that isn't constantly dissing skiing. Burton does absolutely nothing for us so why should we support them.
