What games should I get? Currently got Fifa 11, Ratchet and Clank, and MGS4 - looking for something fun that I can just pop in and have some fun with - nothing stressful like MGS4 - too intense for just chillin hahaha

Yeah Skate 2 is sick, never played 3 because theres no multiplayer apparently which just ruled it out in my book.

playing fun track with some buddies on skate 2 is so much fun and you can play 4 people with only 1 controller.

i don't follow the games that closely but i think theres some good games coming out soon, KZ3, The Last Guardian, Uncharted 3, and others i cant think of.
 
Little big planet is a great game (won game of the year).
Really simple and nice to play after a long day.
Fight night round 4 is sick. You can pick it up real quick.
Red dead redemption is amazing.

skate 3 is the best in the series. creating parks is pretty fun and you can tweak jumps so you can do doubles and triples.

skate 2 was the worst of the series, dumb stuff like security and caps on rails plus the physics arent as good.

skate 1 is the og and will always be fun. cant get off your board and there arent as many tricks but you could pick it up used for cheap if you arent sure about the skate series.
 
who actually plays skate for the single player though?

its all about party play and fun track, me and my buddies have spent countless hours playing that both sober and drunk, such good times, gets super competitive

And to OP, definately check out Little Big Planet. Its a great game in so many situations.
 
the skate series are super chill, you can play with your buddys or online, the great thing about them is that you can take a break from mall the photo shoots and contests and just do ride park or hitch a ride behind a car, and even fully customize your guy, plus since we are all skiers, you can do alot of flips like corks and rodeos which is pretty sick

yeah there is no offline multiplayer, it was never split screen i know, but we just play fun track, you do a run then pass controller, still super fun
 
only games i play by now are skate 3, assassins creed brotherhood, and nhl 11, but on top of that, and more than any other games in this whole thread, play and beat uncharted 1 and 2. first one is sick, second one is the best game i've ever played.
 
Get Halo Reach. It's so much fun online! Oh wait...

In all seriousness though, any/all of the Skate games and COD are mandatory and sick whether you're on PS3 or 360.
 
you can get a used vesion of skate 1 or 2 for almost nothing
then go buy skate 3
nhl 2010 is awesoeme too
 
infamous, wipeout hd and fury (hd is free on psn), skate 3, little big planet, need for speed (pick your favorite), modern warfare 2
